Day 16
Monday 27th April 2020
Happy Gardening Week everyone!
So, in case you didn’t know, this week is National Gardening Week. All week we will be giving you lots of ideas to get outside and enjoy mother nature at her best - just watch out for the rain Tuesday and Wednesday!
If you can, take a look at The Royal Horticultural Society's websites:

Or

“Plants and gardens have the power to uplift us and that's why we urge everyone to get involved in National Gardening Week this year, in whatever way they can. It's more important than ever that we savour the beauty of flowers and trees because gardens are a natural tonic. And if you don’t have a garden or any indoor plants, remember to pause and appreciate the natural world around you when you take your daily exercise. Take a moment to enjoy plants next week and I know you will feel better for it."

Today, we have given you lots of Top Up Tank ideas related to PLANTS. You don't have to do them, but take a look - some of the sheets are great for revising the science from Year 5. And there's even one for spotting plants during your daily walk.
Also, keep an 'eye' on the Literacy and Numeracy folders, where there's lots of new learning ready and waiting for you!
In the science folder, there's a new day of activities being added each day (Light & How We See). On to DAY 5 today!
And Music also has some new ideas too. Lots to keep you busy!
Please do email if you have any super work (or concerns) to share with us. See you tomorrow!
