D-Day 75

Last year we learned all about D-Day 75 years on.  We also made our amazing poppy displays all around our school to give our thanks and remember the sacrifices made. 

 

Operation Overlord too place on 6th June 1945.  All eyes were on Portsmouth for the celebrations, as we hosted some very important visitors.  But the most important visitors where gentlemen and ladies who played such a big part in Operation Overlord.

 

The following videos will remind you of the celebrations and what the occasion marked.  Without this, things could have been very different.
