Junior School

A school where everyone can succeed

Setting a realistic goal

LO: I can set myself a goal or challenge

As we know that learning from home is tricky, as is working from home for the teachers.  I would like to set you a challenge this week.  I want you to set yourself a challenge-this could be to

  • learn how to hola-hoop
  • Learn one of the Spanish songs off by heart and be able to sign it to someone else
  • find out about all the bird that might be visiting your garden or window (to feed from your birdfeeder) or that you might see when you are out for your 1 hour exercise
  • learn how to knit or crochet (there are helpful videos on the internet (ask an adult's permission)
  • become a expert on dog breeds
  • the one minute spin challenge from the Big Night In last week
  • Become an artist (you could try v=creating a portrait of a family member (remember our Tudor sketching)
  • there are so many activities you can choose

Please remember when you have completed your challenge you could voice record, video record or take a picture of your work and email it to the year 5 teaching team-we would love to see what you have been doing.
