Hello Year 4, parents and carers,
For our Literacy this week, we are carrying on with our new book, Oliver Twist by Charles Dickens. Dickens is one of our best-known authors even though he lived 200 years ago. He was born in Portsmouth in 1812 and there is a museum called Charles Dickens Birthplace Museum now at 393 Old Commercial Road, Portsmouth.
Remember, if you cannot download any of the resources, you can use a blank piece of paper on which to write.
In Maths, we are looking at line graphs and data analysis as well as focusing on times tables. It’s very important to keep practicing times tables regularly. Use your Times Tables Rock Stars, Topmarks and Funky Mummy to keep them fresh in your minds.
In Science, our topic will be local habitats and in our Rivers topic we'll be creating a poster for either the river Nile or the Thames.
