Choosing the right school is an important decision and one that we are keen to support prospective new parents with. 
We will be hosting a parent meeting on Wednesday 13th November 2024 at 2:15pm for children starting Year 3 in September 2025.

This will be an opportunity to find out more about our school and ask any questions that you may have.

In addition to our parent's meeting, parents can find out about daily life at Grange by looking through our website and weekly newsletters.  These showcase some of the exciting learning experiences and enrichment opportunities that we have on offer, including school trips, residential visits, school visitors and interactive experiences that make learning fun. Our school Facebook page also provides regular photos and updates that give a taste of school life.

Applications for places in Year 3 can be made from 1^st November 2024 and must be made by 15^th January 2025.  Any applications after this date are classed as late applications and are only processed when on-time applications have been allocated.  Information about how to apply can be found here

Notification date for all on-time applicants will be on 30th April 2025.

Hampshire will be looking to allocate children from our main feeder school Grange Infants, before looking at children out of catchment.  
We hold robust transition days in June/July, that ensures all children get to know the school, school staff and a chance to meet new friends before the summer break. Our Year 3 teachers liaise closely with Year 2 staff to ensure that we know the children’s starting points and next steps before they arrive.
