Year 6 Watercress Line Trip

As part of their history topic – Victorians and the Railways, we are taking Year 6 to the Watercress Line in Ropley.  This is a fabulous trip, children learn so much from the Education Staff, who also make it a lot of fun!

The cost for travel which will be by school minibus, the journey on the steam train and the activities planned on the visit is £16.80.  The trips will be taking place on the following days:

      Wednesday 16th September – 6TC

Thursday 17th September – 6AJ

Thursday 8th October – 6SLS

Children should wear school uniform please (coats if cold etc).  You will need to provide your child with a packed lunch, a light rucksack will be perfect to carry this in.

If you are happy for your child to come on this educational and EXCITING day out, please complete the slip on the letter that has been sent home this week and send into school with the money or pay online. 

RUNNING CLUB

Our early morning Running Club will resume for pupils in Years 4, 5 and 6.

The club will take place on Friday mornings from 8:15am to 8:40am before school and will be overseen by Miss Aroha.  Running Club will begin on Friday 2nd October 2026 and continue until half term.

The aim of the club is to promote positive mental health and wellbeing through running and physical activity.

Please note that if it is raining, Running Club will be automatically cancelled and no separate notification will be sent.
