MOTHER'S DAY SHOP - 12th & 13th March 2026

We will be running a Mother's Day Shop during school hours.  Children may come and purchase something for their parent/carers, prices will vary from 50p - £1 so why not spoilt your Mum!

RED NOSE DAY - FRIDAY 20TH MARCH

On Friday 20^th March children can come to school dressed in Red. We will be collecting donations for the charity, if you wish to donate this would be amazing.​​​​​​​

Easter Competition - Wednesday 25th March 2026

It’s time for our annual Easter Competitions!  

Egg  Hard boil an egg, use your imagination and any materials you can find to change your egg into absolutely anything (or anyone!) Make sure your name and class are clearly labelled on it.
Hat  Decorate an Easter bonnet or make one! Use any materials and your best ideas to create a stunning hat on any theme you like, make sure your hat has your name and class attached to it in some way.

All entries should be bought into school on Wednesday 25^th March 2026.
There will be prizes for 1^st 2^nd & 3^rd place for Lower & Upper School.
 

Easter Bingo - Thursday 26th March

We will be holding another Fundraising Easter Bingo event in the school hall on Thursday 26^th March 2026 3:30pm – 5:00pm.  Entry will be £5 per person and this will include 4 games! Children under 5 years of age will require a ticket, but there will be no charge for them.

We are limited on the number of people we can have in the hall, so tickets will be sold on a first come, first served basis. All tickets will need to be purchased by Friday 20^th March 2026. (Cash Only).

Prizes will be Easter themed. Food and drink will be available to buy. (Cash only).

YEAR 5 SWIMMING

Swimming is part of the National Curriculum for Key Stage 2. We have arranged swimming lessons for our Year 5 children commencing Monday 5th January until 13th February 2026 from 1.00pm at Holbrook

Monday - 5AH

Thursday - 5AJ

Friday - 5SG

Children are expected to swim each week, swimming kit must be in school (see below).  If your child is not well enough to swim, a letter will be necessary explaining the reason as swimming is part of our P.E. curriculum.

AFTER SCHOOL SPORTS CLUB JANUARY - MARCH 2026

Active 360 will be running the after school sports club from Monday 5th January 2026 - 27th March 2026

RUNNING CLUB

Our early morning Running Club will resume once again, for years 4, 5 & 6 it will take place on FRIDAY mornings before school at 8:15am – 8:40am, this is overseen by Miss Aroha and will start on Friday 23rd January 2026 up until half term.   The aim is to be able to promote mental health through running.

If it is raining running club will automatically be cancelled, without any notification given.
