The children arrived safely on the IOW. 🏝 They are all having a great time. On Tuesday they spent the day on the beach fossil hunting and painting stones, later that afternoon they visited the glass works watched how to blow glass, in the evening they were entertained by the Magic Man. On Wednesday they spent all day at Carisbrooke castle where they explored the well-preserved castle and grounds. The children met the castle’s resident donkeys who have been drawing up water in the well-house for hundreds of years. The children climbed the steep steps up the massive castle mound to enjoy unrivalled birds-eye views from the ancient castle keep. The took a long walk right around the castle on the battlements. 🏰 In the evening the children finished off the day with a visit to the local park to play team games. ⚽️🏏
Tuesday's visit to the Beach and Glass Factory ☀️🔮
The last day on the IOW the children visited the lovely Donkey Sanctuary, where they have adopted a donkey! We can't wait to find out who our new friend will be?!!
