We are still asking that all children come into school, on those days, dressed in their PE kit (so that they do not need to change). All children will need to be dressed in an appropriate PE kit
- You don't need to bring lots of things from home - just the essentials: packed lunch box, water bottle and coat;

Butser Ancient Farm On Wednesday 8th October 2025, Year 3 went on a very exciting trip to Butser farm. In History we are learning about the Stone Age and today we had a chance to put out learning in to action with some hands-on investigations of life in the Stone Age. First, we enjoyed an exciting talk around the fire in a reconstructed Stone Age house. We learnt what the houses were made from and how tough life in the Stone Age could be. We discussed food, fires, hunting and gathering. We quickly realised Stone Age people were incredibly clever, resilient and strong. For the remainder of the day, we participated in lots of exciting activities including: Chalk carving, clay pot making, jewellery making, an archaeological dig and investigating artefacts. We had a superb day and everyone behaved perfectly. We are really proud of everyone!
