Year 7 Applications for September 2027

Please find below open evenings for the local schools in the area;

Bridgemary – Thursday 17th September 2026, 5-8pm

Crofton – TBA

This is for families of prospective future students, looking to start secondary school in September 2027. Visitors are welcome to arrive any time after 6.00pm as there is no set programme for the evening. There will be a range of displays and activities to give you a flavour of the lessons your child will experience at Crofton School.

There will also be a presentation in the Main Hall from Mr Harrison, Headteacher, repeated throughout the evening. We will assign you a time slot on arrival.

Please be aware that parking on our site is limited, so if you are able to car share or walk, this would help. Our car parks can be accessed via our main entrance on Marks Road. Please do not park in the surrounding streets to respect our neighbours.

We are delighted to invite Year 6 pupils and parents to our open evening on Thursday 18 September 2025. The school will be open from 4:15pm to 7pm and our Headteacher presentation will take place in the Main Hall at 4:30pm, 5:30pm and 6:30pm.

To help ensure we keep to the correct number of people attending the presentations, all parents/carers must select which presentation time they will be attending and how many people will be coming along, we do need to keep to a limit of 4 people maximum per family.

The deadline for applications is midnight on Saturday 31st October 2026.

Notification date for on-time applicants will be 3rd March 2027.

YEAR 6 TRANSITION DAYS FOR SECONDARY 2026

Preparing for Secondary School Evening on Wednesday 10 June.  This will be an after-school event, and they will send further details out to parents directly.
